90 Degree Elbow for Electrical PVC Pipe in Underground Duct Runs: Inspection Covers, Tees and Couplings That Keep Cables Pullable
In every buried or slab-embedded duct run, a cable is only as easy to install as its worst bend. When a draw rope jams or a sheath tears during pulling, the fault is rarely the conduit barrel; it is the fitting at the corner. That is why the 90 degree elbow for electrical PVC pipe deserves the same attention as the pipe.
A conduit system is a route, not one product. Straight lengths carry the cable, but corners, joints, branches and size changes decide whether that route survives backfilling and concrete pouring. Specifying the full fitting set early avoids the shortage that sends a crew back to the market.
The 90 degree elbow for electrical PVC pipe turns a run through a right angle, and in buried or cast-in-slab work it fails most often. Where a bend may need later access, specify an elbow with inspection cover: the cover opens so a technician can clear a blockage without breaking concrete.
The rest follows the route. A coupling for electrical PVC pipe joins two lengths and repairs a bad cut, an equal tee for electrical PVC pipe branches to a second point, and a reducer for electrical PVC pipe steps between diameters. Solvent-weld sockets hold all three, provided pipe and fittings share one tolerance.
Junctions need the same logic, and a tee with inspection cover gives access at the branch rather than only at the bend. None of it holds if the line shifts: a clip saddle for PVC pipe, fixed before backfilling or pouring, keeps the assembly aligned while soil and concrete load it.
G AND N FORTUNE LIMITED makes pipe and fittings in one plant: 35 extrusion lines for conduit and profiles, and 55 injection molding machines for elbows, couplings, tees, reducers and inspection covers. The same factory supplies junction boxes, PVC trunking and street lighting housings, so one container carries the whole package.
Production follows British Standard (BS) practice, with conduit and fittings tested to the BS EN 61386 series for cable management — the documents consultants and inspectors ask for. With 20 years of export shipping, consignments leave for Nigeria, Ghana, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Malta and Thailand in sizes from 16mm to 63mm.
For a fast quotation, state the diameter, fitting types, whether bends or junctions need inspection covers, and quantities, adding ten percent extra elbows and couplings for site changes. Ask G AND N FORTUNE LIMITED for samples, a packing list covering conduit, fittings, junction boxes and clip saddle for PVC pipe, and lead times.
