PVC Pipe Clip with Screw and Expansion Bolt for Concrete Walls: Sizing, Load and Installation Guide
On most sites, attention goes to the pipe, not the part holding it, yet a run that sags, rattles or pulls away from a wall failed at the fixing, not the barrel. A PVC pipe clip with screw and expansion bolt decides whether a line stays straight and quiet for years.
It arrives as one complete fixing set: the PVC pipe clip body grips the pipe, the screw passes through the clip base, and the expansion bolt sleeve spreads behind it to lock into concrete, hollow block or brick. The body is non-conductive and will not rust, so it suits wet rooms and coastal air where steel clips stain within two seasons.
Sizing starts with outside diameter. Clips are ordered by the same figure as the pipe, and 20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 63mm, 75mm and 110mm cover most plumbing and conduit work. Order one size up and the pipe sits loose and noisy, so confirm the real diameter first, because PVC conduit and water pipe under the same nominal size are not always identical.
Load matters as much as size. A horizontal run full of water is heavy, so spacing tightens as diameter grows, and vertical stacks need support at each slab. Where a pipe runs outdoors or beside a vibrating pump, a pipe saddle spreads load across a wider base; many crews fit a pipe saddle at every change of direction.
G AND N FORTUNE LIMITED has spent 20 years exporting plastic pipe systems, and the clips are moulded in the same plant as the pipe: 35 extrusion lines for pipes, trunking and profiles, 55 injection molding machines for clips, pipe saddle bodies, junction boxes and fittings, all produced to British Standard (BS) requirements.
Installation is quick when the steps are right. Mark the run, drill to the depth of the sleeve, blow out the dust, tap the expansion bolt home, then drive the screw until the clip sits firm without crushing the pipe wall. Leave room for thermal movement on long runs.
Sourcing clips and pipe together avoids mismatch, because a clip moulded to a different tolerance will not close or grips so tightly that movement cracks the socket. State the diameter, clip size, screw and sleeve length for your wall type, and the colour, then add ten percent for breakage.
Ask G AND N FORTUNE LIMITED for samples, a matched packing list covering PVC conduit, PE pipe and corrugated sleeves, and current lead times, and let 20 years of export experience and British Standard certification back every carton.
